New Facebook things and other musings

• The Facebook (www.facebook.com for those of you that have lived in a cave or aren't in college) has added some new features as of late and I must say that they are awfully time consuming. The first feature is a 'pulse' keeping track of the trends amongst students. The other is a way to display your connections to people. That is very time consuming trying to do it for all the people you know.
• As of yesterday, our roadtrip to Florida was rapidly and harshly cancelled. I'm ok with it though, as it will free up my money and time. But soon we shall make the trek...soon.
• Ross bought a house in Normal and it is g-l-o-r-i-o-u-s. It's so cool what he's done with it in such a short time. I went and stayed the night with him last night and we had a blast doing all sorts of things in his sweet hanging pad.
• He beat me in everything we played, but it was ok, because we got to play darts, ping pong, and madden. It was great just to have that fun like that.
• Ross bought most of his stuff at thrift stores for his house. We decided to keep looking and we went to the thrift stores.
• I happened upon a pair of snowboard boots at the thrift store. It was a perfect blessing as they were in my size and it saved me a good chunk of money.
• I've not read in quite a few days. I really need to get back into that.
• Tomorrow is a day of work, as I have much cleaning as well as other odd tasks to complete.
• I got a couple more hats as of late and they're all fun. I'm a big fan of hats.
• Time for bed...

SOTD: DUMB - Johnny Damon, now a member of the New York Yankees signed a deal with them recently after being released from duty to hated rival Boston. Damon completely dishonored the code of not playing for the other team as well as allowed himself to get sucked into the pretty boy image of the Yankees and cut his long mane. That is so dumb!
