So God is great. I decided that. He really has lifted me up to a place of euphoric excitement at just the utterance of his name as of late. I've just been so excited about little things with God. I'm also excited about my friends that he's put into my life. Just in the sense of I pray that they can see the joy offered in him. Also the love that he offers. I love that I've gotten an opportunity to encourage a bunch of different friends these last few weeks. It feels so good to be able to encourage different folks. In so many ways God has worked through me, at least I hope I've got him flowing throughout me. And that's how I feel. Now comes finals week and I must do well, but I'm not going to freak out either. We talked in iteam about how stress is going to happen, but it's how we deal with that stress that is important. Tomorrow is going to be a fun day, especially what with sort of scheduling my own activities such as studying, working out, hanging out, etc. It'll be good to work it out.
OOO OOO OOOOOOOO....Tonight at Mass we sung O Come Emmanuel, and it was glorious. I love that song soooooooo much. It's so powerful and amazing. The context is what makes it such a powerful song. It's speaking to Isreal, a down to the end of it's rope nation. These guys had nothing going for them at the time. And this song is speaking to them saying REJOICE!! Emmanuel (God on the earth) is coming!!! They knew the prophecies and they believed. Imagine the buzz around the holy land in the time Jesus lived. The changes that occured were earth-shattering. It is soooooo amazing. I get chills thinking about it.
