Loaded Gun

This gun is loaded with bullets

  • I woke up late today. I really wanted to help my dad with Sunday school, but apparently I needed the sleep.
  • I was up until 2 working on my CS MP. I did finish it.
  • I slept only 4.5 hours the previous night.
  • I drove for 5-6 hours yesterday.
  • Those factors should explain my need for sleep.
  • Texas and USC were so dominant this week. They didn't want to leave any question as to who were the best two teams in the country. They came out gunning in tune-up games for the Rose Bowl in a month.
  • My family rocks. I love them to death.
  • It was great to see people that I haven't seen for 2 years this weekend. Seeing cousins, aunts, and uncles was great. It's gotten easier to talk to them as I've gotten older, which is very cool. Plus they're just very interesting people.
  • A friend of mine could use your prayers. I really can't say much more than he/she is lost and really needs God's hand to guide him/her.
  • I drove in some wicked snow last night. It took us 5+ hours to do a 4- hours trip.
  • I love this snow!!! It's been around for 4 days now. That is so unlike central Illinois, especially for early December. But it really has been glorious and I hope it continues.
  • Reggie Bush is a certified stud. He could breed with horses and probably have a Triple Crown winner, he's that amazing.
  • I know the last point is disturbing, but ignore the disturbingness and see the awesomeness of it.
  • Vince Young is a stud as well. Those two should probably be the top two in Heisman voting.
  • My Heisman ballot:
  1. Reggie Bush - USC: The guy is amazing and such a catalyst for his team. AND a 10+ ypc average = sick
  2. Vince Young - Texas: This man has single-handedly killed Texas's reputation of choking in the big game. He also has done more with less.
  3. Matt Leinart - USC: IMPROVED on last season when he won the Heisman himself. And truth be told, he might deserve it more than anybody else, but it's that whole, "he's won it once" thing
  4. Brian Robinson - PSU: Quietly had a year nearly as big as Vince's en route to a Big Ten title.
  5. Brady Quinn - ND: SICK numbers and a BCS berth. Granted, I probably put him lower because of the love that Charlie Weis gets. I have a feeling Quinn would've been this good under Ty Willingham, and I don't want a former New England coach to get the credit
HONORABLE MENTION: Jerome Harrison - WSU: Quietly led the nation with gaudy numbers.

Ahaha. I was about to say something to the effect of "that's really disturbing" . . . and then I read the second bullet point.
