depressing reminder

Florida..that's so depressing. I hate it. They don't DESERVE a national championship....I know, who am I the judge to say who deserves a national championship. I actually have no right to say who deserves what, but I think it just makes me sad that they won. They don't feel as passionately about their basketball as a lot of schools...they're a FOOTBALL school, and they've won a basketball championship. It's so depressing. Now, let it also be known that this would be less depressing if I didn't know somebody that went to Florida, if they didn't have the colors orange and blue, and if it wasn't 1 year after we lost our national championship game to one heck of a team. Florida had to play GEORGE MASON in the Final Four...not Louisville. The differences are ridiculous and it just shows how important and different each year is. THIS TRULY pisses me off, and I know it's immature, stupid, and immature again. But I don't care. *pouty face*

WOW...I just wanted to punch that dick in the face. Swinging his hips right in the face of UCLA players...real sportsmanshiplike (Yes, I'm aware I'm not being very sportsmanlike). I can definitely feel for the UCLA contingency there in the building though. I can first hand tell you what it's like to be at a national championship and lose...UGH...empty feeling in my gut...YES. Thank the Lord that he is alive though!!! AMEN...that was helpful...still depressed though.

On another note....story from my ME300 professor: This is a paraphrase of what he said...

Today's weather reminds me of a story. There was a firefighting helicoptor out and about and it got lost flying around. The pilot finally, in desperation, flew up to an office building and held up a sign saying "Where am I?" The response came from the building in the form of a sign that said "In a helicoptor." The pilot then flew back immediately to the Seattle airport with no troubles. Telling his story later to his fellow pilots, they asked him how that allowed him to know how to get back. The pilot responded, "Well, since I was given information that was technically correct, but completely useless, I knew I was at Microsoft Headquarters and was able to fly home from there."

SOTD - 1-0 - The baseball season has started into full swing, and the Cubs are indeed 1-0 after the first game. Let's hope this trend continues and they end up 162-0...
