fo rizzle, what's newzile?
So my birthday is come and past. I'm 20 years old now, and I can no longer blame anything stupid I do on being a teenager. Now I must learn to do smart things :) I really was glad to have my family over for my birthday. It was great. We ate Red Lobster and we just hung out. It was good to see them. I got a new phone and a DVD...fun gifts and I was definitely gladdened just by having the people around. My dad baked a cake and it was quite tasty. We definitely chowed down on that, and it was glorious.
Thanks to everybody else that made it a great birthday. I definitely enjoyed playing basketball, watching movies, watching the Illini, and just hanging out. It was a lot of good, clean fun. My friends here at school are great! It's too bad I couldn't spend time with my friends at home too.
I've been writing my support letters for New Orleans and that has been a fun task as of late. I've enjoyed taking care of the logistics so I can go on that wicked awesome trip. It's going to be great to serve in that capacity.
I have to be getting myself a new sports coat for SNG this weekend, as I've used all the ones I currently have. I just gotta get a ride to the thrift store.
One of the coolest things that has happened to me lately, and I appreciate it a ton, and I know it's somewhat superficial, but it's great, is (wow this is a really big run on sentence) that Imig fixed my iPod for me. At least theoretically. It hasn't been working properly since nearly before this summer. So its nice that it's working now. I hope it stays that way. I really think I'll be using it to listen to more recorded teaching and learning in my free time. Thanks Shmim!
As for other things. I think I'm gonna stay up all night tonight, so I can work on homework and get ahead. All I have tomorrow is my ECE lab from 8-10...I can sleep when that's done. I'm excited about this.
SOTD - 3 - Currently, Joe Lunardi, ESPN's expert on the college basketball postseason tournament, has Illinois as a 3 seed. That's a good spot for us.
