Pack draft
I truly am struggling with enjoying Ted Thompson. He is the Green Bay Packers General Manager, and he has been ineffective and taken nada in the risk catergory. Green Bay over the past few years, with Thompson in charge, has made abysmal progress.
What has happened?
- He broke up our outstanding offensive line by letting our two pro bowl guards go through free agency
- He let our pro bowl safety go through free agency
- He drafted an over rated QB in our first round of the draft. While I would agree with that pick to an extent, but just because he was available, he didn't NEED to be picked.
- He and our pro bowl wideout got into disagreeable interactions and he had to let him go
- He fired our very capable head coach and hired an unproven man as coach
- Green bay continued to have plenty of salary cap room and he let more proven players go. A linebacker, center, and kicker
- His drafts have also been uneventful. He did draft A.J. Hawk...DUH, the pick to make.
- This year, he drafted an un-needed DT in the first round. Totally unneeded.
